The elements and the animals don't ponder their existence.    Ants know
no futility or bitterness.   Endlessly, they continue their task.

Each spring birds build a new nest, unencumbered by the winter storms.
An Eagle will still fly after its mate dies.  And yet, the elements and
the animals carry just as much medicine as we think we do.

Have we forgotten how to forget ourselves?

today i crossed it at sunset.  the sky was just starting to turn that
bright pink it turns before it goes into the purple range then it cools
to blue until the ice clear blackness of
desert night opens the blinds to the stars.

You must be headed South toward the Sonoran  Desert;  my home....  the
only place in the world where the Saguaro grows.

Have you ever peered into the  sky for more than 10 minutes  in the
desert?  Surely you will find a falling star.  A wish whenever you need
one....

thunderstorms are  in the forecast and i am not afraid. i will fly
happily into the heart of  it all once again

"storms in the desert are violent things, and clean, they leave you
feeling like you have cried."
